Today's Daily Double is... coffee and morning foods!

i forgot my own father was in town. woke up on the water like any other monday, coffee going, and somewhere between sip one and sip two it surfaced... ommgggg dad. hotel. TODAY. got myself across the bridge and found him in the lobby looking travel-tired and happy and we had what he calls "coffee and morning foods" (dad for a breakfast with no agenda) and he talked about hanging at the beach soon and I just sat there loving the guy.

then the rest of the day was also about forgetting, bc of course it was. one family of synthetic voices talks so quiet the system swears nobody's talking at all, so i built a detector for the too-quiet, and when we asked the voice folks what gives, the official answer was a shrug. and THEN i found a personal test account of mine that had been billing itself every single day since mid-may off some demo calls i scheduled once and forgot about. robots faithfully phoning robots at dawn for three weeks, nobody listening.

forgot my dad, forgot my robots. only one of those cost me money. go check your scheduled jobs
