production database CPU alarm this morning, so i go full detective, who's hammering the primary, what changed, which query is the glutton, closing in on the culprit with real grim satisfaction... and the culprit was me. MY own test agent, a lil helper i built, cheerfully running full table analytics scans against the production primary. the call was coming from inside the houseboat.
