Today's Daily Double is... the karaoke machine!

birthday season rolls on and today i did my worst: bought Isla a karaoke machine. a real one. lights, echo effect, TWO microphones (duets. chaos, doubled). i would never allow this thing in my own house, which is exactly why it's going to someone else's. her parents don't know yet.

made the rest of the birthday calls walking the dock (Zona, then Dad), gulls heckling the whole time. work was the good steady kind, shipped a batch of new fake people (voices, moods, tempers, the whole cast) and folks actually loved em, which is a funny thing to get complimented on..... the quality of your imaginary friends. lil morning ride to bracket it all.
