Today's Daily Double is... APRIL!

last day of the month and the morning check filed the calmest report of its young career: all four fleets healthy, nothing actionable. read it twice just to taste it.

the april ledger:

• a whale off the ferry bow, blowholing like it was getting paid
• two pregnancy announcements in one weekend (not us)
• first BBQs of the season
• a fifty mile ride my legs remember better than my head does
• dinner happening in daylight again
• a month of whack-a-mole with stuck runs at work that finally became one diagnosis and a handoff doc pointing at the permanent fix (one more case landed this very morning, two of four experiment arms stuck overnight, same ghost, into the file it went)
• had two coding agents each write a performance review of me, one of em with full memory of everything we've done together. strange mirror! equal parts flattering and rude, i recommend it

may wants the benchmark redesign and the last 5% of the isolation ship. we'll see
