Today's Daily Double is... the seven a.m. robot!

new ritual as of this morning: at 7 sharp a little agent of mine wakes up all on its own, walks the perimeter of our worker fleets, counts heads, takes temperatures, and leaves a briefing waiting before i've finished my coffee. and guess what it found on day one? one of the fleets pinned flat at 100 machines out of 100 allowed, alarm thresholds set wrong, so yesterday's peak would have blown right past the cap and i'd have found out whenever a customer did (the worst way to find out anything). i used to do this check by hand when I remembered, and it was a pain in the ass, which is why i mostly didn't. now the robot counts and i decide. everybody's got a job
