Today's Daily Double is... talking to the computer!

rough math from today: six hours of talking to machines, maybe one hour of typing. and my hands (the same hands the tendonitis tried to repossess a few years back) feel fine tonight, which is not nothing. it is goooood not typing all day.

the dream keeps growing tho. i want a lil mac mini that never sleeps to be the brain of the whole operation, so i can say a thing from my phone on the ferry or from the dock and the thing just happens, check the fleet, kick off the build, dim the lights on the boat. part of this is the injury forcing the issue but most of it honestly is that it's just fun, saying something out loud and watching it get done. not all the way there yet. the saved keystrokes are real though, and the hands vote yes
