Today's Daily Double is... last day of march!

rained all day so the bike stayed home and i took the bus over the bridge. the day, in order:

• shipped a tiny virtual town where our simulated personas live as pets. drag and drop, wiggle animation, lil crown for whichever persona is performing best. v1 before standup, v2 before ten. nobody asked for this
• demoed the failure-hotspot matrix at standup, live, no net. it landed
• customer's runs jammed solid, unstuck em by hand
• then their results page wouldn't load at all. 600 conversations, 946 metric rows, rows that should map one to one breeding duplicates in the dark. wrote the dedup fix, said the ancient prayer (fingers crossed the page loads and i don't get fired), hit enter. page loaded. still employed
• closed the case on an agent that was interrupting callers in 72% of calls, 97% of em in one direction. when the numbers are that lopsided it ain't the test harness, friend
• recorded demo videos, called mom, walked lady in the drizzle, renewed the parking permit like a real adult

so that's march: japan, sumo, a whale, porpoises, a stable of personas that all talk like me, one near-death page load, one town full of pets wearing one tiny crown. not bad
