standup from the galley with the tide doing the commuting for me. morning went to teaching the robots manners, one skill that teaches the agents to write feature docs the way we actually write them, and another that makes new metrics in a consistent way instead of every metric being its own special snowflake with its own special bugs. you don't write the code anymore, you write down HOW to write the code. strange job.

lunch was eleven miles at a peppy clip. tonight the car gets packed, whole company crew headed up to the mountains for the weekend (a teammate's place), snow in the forecast and skis in the pile. we'll see how a saltwater man does up there.
