Today's Daily Double is... failing convincingly!

presidents day got me. stood in the rain at the ferry landing waiting on a 7am boat that wasn't coming (holiday schedule, didn't check). consolation coffee and a cookie at Taste of Rome, fine, i'll take it.

then the real lesson of the day. those audio upload test cases i thought were working last week? not working. failing in a CONVINCING way, which is so much worse than failing loud. green checkmarks that mean jack shit, logs that read like success if you squint, and buddy i had been squinting. tore it down and by mid afternoon uploads and transcripts were actually working, verified with my own suspicious eyeballs, then wrote the design doc for deterministic test personas (text and audio both, say exactly this, no improv).

coffee later with an old friend from the trivia game years. his lil TV game quietly makes real money every month now, just hums along on the channel store. I have a whole fleet of dumb games and no excuse. anyway, the birds and seals went full nat geo off the back of the boat all weekend, so no complaints here
