Today's Daily Double is... soup for my valentine!
sailed a thirty foot boat this morning! first time. day one of the class, actual sails, actual wind, me at the helm. instructor was pedantic and kinda boring, and you know what? good. that is exactly who should be teaching you the ocean.
then home, and Al was down proper sick (chills, the works), so valentine's day became:
- make the soup
- refill the water glass
- walk Lady solo in the drizzle
- keep the kettle in rotation
- tuck the blankets
- let her sleep straight through the holiday
one of us went down and the other held the course. get well sweet Al
