• type sooorry in the channel with too many o's
• watch a teammate wade in calm as anything, roll it back, fix it forward
• learn more about the guts of the system in one hour than in the whole first week

you don't know a machine till you've broken it. i know this machine a little now.

in other news the big customer meeting went well so now there's a whole new kind of simulator to build, and the volume slider that has been quietly humiliating me for days finally got fixed..... by the agent. described the sin one more time, walked away to make tea, came back to a working slider. days of my flailing and it just needed me to ask right.

capped it off across the bay at a friend's sister's place with Al. cactus soup! never had it. bright and green and a lil tart. good day, on balance.
