one looooong flight and then Lady hit me at full german shepherd velocity before i even got the gate open, ninety pounds of where-were-you. fog was in, tide was high, boat shifted under my boots. miami was warm and loud and full of people i love, but this cold gray water light is the frequency my blood runs at. dropped the bags, walked the dog, watched the water do nothing in particular for a good while. the bed moves. that's how ya know you're home
