Today's Daily Double is... the lighted boat parade!

saturday, in order:

• woke up late (last night's party still in the bones)
• fetch on the dock with Lady til her tongue hung sideways
• Home Alone
• Home Alone 2 (december demands the double feature)
• takeout from shanghai kitchen
• Dawn came over and we bundled up on the deck to watch the lighted boat parade come down the channel

sailboats, trawlers, one motor yacht strung stem to stern with lights, reindeer wired to a bow pulpit, a glowing santa lashed to a mast, carols coming across the water all warped. Dawn gave every boat a score and a backstory. she's such a weirdo. so cool.

and the best part of living on the water? no parking, no crowds, the parade just floats past your kitchen
