Today's Daily Double is... the dead token!

plan this morning was five minutes: pull a teammate's PR, test it, thumbs up, move on. instead my npm token had died in the night and everything was 401s. so, mint a new github token, mint a new npm token, paste, export, fail, read the error again, mint another one. very much a long ago solved problem, but a pain in the ass every time the credentials rot out from under you and your five minute favor eats the whole morning.

lunch was lunch, lost at smash again (same three moves get me every time and i keep walking into em). afternoon was pr reviews, which I secretly kinda like, you get to see how other people think.

gratitude entries tonight were 'attitude' and 'opportunity'. a busted token day at a job i like, on a boat, with the dog asleep and Al reading next to me, is still a pretty good day. token works now anyway
